i will get an opamp circuit up this weekend
im also really behind on the opamp tutorials
for the main website
ill have to work out the new resistor values
for the cv in mod
i think a third resistor will be required
or conceptually simpler
would be to use a jack that has an independent switch on it
and just switch on and off the 5v rail

Re: dual conf / off-board connections
I know I asked some 'existential' questions, but that wasn't meant to push you! I'm really grateful for all this information. So ... take your time!
I got the whole experimental dual-fx out of my head (and my wallet) and I'll put in an order for a bare system. The enclosure looks really nice, but I think it's getting a bit to costly for me (as if I don't know that building my own would cost me probably as much) and ... as I pointed out, I want to have room for modifications and probably use some bigger knobs for precision.
In response to your reply ... could a normalizing stereo jack be used for this?

Re: dual conf / off-board connections
if i understand correctly what a normalized jack is
i think thats the type that i showed in the cv in schematic
i guess a stereo one would give another switch to control things with
and thanks for your existential questions
i have no idea what the average visitor to the site thinks
and any feedback is good feedback in my book
