Hey gang,
I just got and built my BootlegMIC tonight. I'm planning to hit a live (and loud) show tomorrow night and give it a spin. I'll be using an iPhone 4S.
Has anyone tried any recording apps other than the standard apps that come with iOS 5? I'm more interested in strictly audio recording apps like the Voice Memos app that Apple provides. Looking through the apps store, I see plenty of others that allows you to tweak all sorts of settings like auto-normalization and mic volume level.
Anyone with any experience care to offer an opinion?
Chris.

I didn't like how the jam room recordings came out with the pure voice recorder in the iPhone 5. I have some done on my ole 3 that I'm trying to get off but I'm an iTard and am having issues. Time to boot into Linux and give it a try instead.

I finally got some of the recordings off my iPhone 3 that were done with the voice recorder. They weren't bad all things considered, and I think with better phone/mic placement the sound quality would be better.
