Input

Input

Hi,
you have written that the input can be used as microphone, instrument and line level input, but I haven't found any more information about that. I thought these three need different impedances. Is there any way to switch this?

Greetings,

the input of the microdec is 500k, which is good for instruments. for microphones and line level it is not ideal, but it doesnt effect the sound that much. it has gain variable from 1 to 50, which is good enough to amplify most microphones and guitars.

Thank you!
So you would say the input is optimal for guitars and a DI box or something else would not make it better?

yes, the input is good for guitars, and a DI box wouldnt help any. it basically has the same input stage as most effects pedals.
