DI'ing into a computer or consumer audio product

Postby waterman » Mon Sep 20, 2010 11:33 am

i was looking at the i/o of the microdec and it looks like it's a 50 kohm instrument out suitable for a studio amp. Would think one could use a DI box to adjust it to about 100 ohms for an audio input into a computer or consumer audio product....(?)

The other approach might be to use the R & L Head Phone out - I can see that on the board...is that suitable?

the output of 1/4" jacks is 100ohm
so it can drive consumer products or headphones
at least until you start turning the volume down
then it maxes out at 2.5kohm
